A Sweet Spring Greeting…

Greetings,

How have you been? I hope this message finds you well, nourished by sunlight, and looking forward to some summer adventures, whatever that may be for you. I have just returned from a full yet much needed and rejuvenating trip. A little backcountry skiing on Mt. Shasta and some quiet time camping in the Umpqua National Forest.

I am very excited to share some tid bits about my recent adventures, and updates regarding the happenings within the Body of Earth realm.

Summer Books Are Open

While I do have a few travel plans on the horizon—working in the Teahouse at the beautiful Spirit Weavers gathering, and visiting my family on Lake Michigan—I am largely here, playing in the garden, hanging by the river, making pots at the The Clay Commons, and available for summer bookings. I continue to offer Integrative Bodywork and Prenatal Offerings in Hood River, OR. I know summer is a full full full season for everyone, so schedule some time to settle into your body, regulate your nervous system, and unwind from the whirlwind. I am here to be in service of your healing journey. Please schedule though my booking page or by sending a message though my contact page.

New Offering

While I have taken courses and studied craniosacral therapy for years, I recently took my very first course in the biodynamic approach from teachers Monica Rudestam and April Strauss within the lineage of Todd Jackson. It was magic. For me, this felt like a coming home, a practice, teachings, and teachers that I have been waiting for. It feels simultaneously like something my body on some level already knows and the beginning of lifelong learning and inquiry. I actually wanted to practice craniosacral therapy before I even attended massage school or wanted to practice other bodywork modalities. I am inspired and humbled by these teachings and honored to continue studying and to begin sharing this incredible work.

So…what is

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?

It is a way of staying present with and listening to the body. It follows the source of health that is already existing to facilitate a healing process throughout. This work, while very gentle and slow, works incredibly deeply. It connects the practitioner to the recipient’s unique rhythms and taps into the healing resources that are presently available, allowing the space for unwinding and release. This practice is about being with what is and following the body with no agenda. Read more about this lineage here

I am currently offering a handful of practice sessions at no charge on a first come first serve basis. I would love to practice this work with you, your support and feedback are so so valuable to me. Please send me a message through my contact page with any questions.

Once these practice sessions are full, I will be offering this work at a greatly discounted rate of $55.00/60 minute session.

Thank you so much

for taking the time to receive my news and updates. It truly has been a long time since I have written a newsletter. My intention is to make this a more regular occurrence, so hopefully you will be hearing from me again soon. I look forward to hearing from you with any questions regarding my offerings.

If you know anyone who may appreciate the contents of this message or benefit from the work that I do, please share this post. Your support means so much.

Blessings & Gratitude,

Lindsey
